Washington, DC, September 13, 2012The Fridge is bringing back the live-painting show THE PAINTAGON. Watch five street artists (invited artists include TAXI GANG, GATOR, CHE, HK181, PORE, JAZI and ULTRA) paint on-site at the 2012 H Street Festival on Saturday, September 15 beginning at 12pm. The Festival will take place on H Street, between 8th & 14th Streets, NE. The Paintagon will be located on the NE corner of 11th and H, NE.

“The Fridge is thrilled to be a part of the H Street Festival.” says Alex Goldstein, Owner and Gallery Director of the Barracks Row street art gallery and performance space. “The Paintagon–a five-sided structure made up of 5 ten-foot by ten-foot panels that I designed and built–is a great fit for a vibrant festival such as this. Visitors will witness 5 well-known DC based artists who will each be painting live at the event in their signature graffiti styles, offering a rare glimpse into the process of creating a piece. Throughout the day as visitors pass by they will see 5 blank panels transformed into one amazing piece of art.”
