Apollo Theatre
The Apollo Theatre was once the largest theatre in the District of Columbia before it was torn down. The previously majestic theatre sat 800 people and cost $20,000 to build.
While the theatre is no longer standing, H Street is undergoing a renaissance. As seen in the after shot below, major work is being done to add streetcar lines to make it more accessible and bring back the great neighborhood we remember.
